MODIPHIUS ADVENT CALENDAR - 2nd DECEMBER
It was amazing to find the old toy German MP40 in our attic - the same one I used to run around the fields with my friends dressed as soldiers when we were kids in the 70's, we also had a plastic Thompson SMG that my brothers had when they were kids in the 60's! No surprise I'd get so excited about dressing up for our Kickstarter video for Achtung! Cthulhu, which if you didn't watch till the end you wouldn't have seen so go check it out! Rita puts on a great show as a Russian officer, with a quickly improvised line which she did in her first take!
I remember reading a great book on the Star Wars merchandising, how George Lucas and friends would stand around with sticks in the boardroom pretending to be Stormtroopers so they could figure out poses for the toy range. It really inspired me, and so it's equally exciting that we are developing this whole range of figures for Achtung! Cthulhu - mostly funded by the Kickstarter but now it's own entity. I don't expect they'll be an RAF officer with a dodgy moustache and an MP40 miniature just yet, but as you can see we've got a selection of great characters!
