MODIPHIUS ADVENT CALENDAR - 3rd DECEMBER
People often think the hard work is running the Kickstarter, the daunting task of preparing for it, the long hours everyday keeping it going but in reality that's just the tip of the iceberg, it's then followed by months of work to ensure backers get the shiny beautiful things you promised at the beginning. It's hours in the warehouse helping put together parcels in time for Christmas, packing 9000 individual metal parts, as well as overseeing the art, design and numerous writers who did an amazing job.
Rita spent days before Christmas with me making sure everyone got exactly the right parts for the Achtung! Cthulhu miniatures - and for those of you who've bought them you'll know what we mean. These were designed to be amazing action pieces, not one-piece sculpts that would have been easy, but just not quite what we wanted. Incredibly our warehouse turned around the first 1000 orders of Achtung! Cthulhu books and merchandise in just two and a half days and with us helping package many of the boxes it was a great feeling seeing them go out the door and even better the messages of thanks before Christmas last year.
